Denise E. Williams is a merging of a Medicine Woman, Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Occupational Therapist, Wellness Counselor, empath, psychic, medium, humorist, vocalist, dancer and actor. In response to a challenging period, Ms. Williams transformed her outlook on life. She determined that “levity leads to longevity.” Ms. Williams created a series of wellness workshops and presentations entitled, “Humor and Health: A Therapist’s Perspective on Mirth and Motivation and the Effects on Wellness.”

Throughout Ms. Williams’ career, opportunities were sought to study and train in African Dancing, Latin, Modern, Jazz, Ballet and Tap. Her childhood muse was singing, esp. Showtunes and female Jazz vocalists. Ms. Williams paid attention to this nudging and studied Classical voice with Martha O. Swisher. The 27 years of vocal study allowed the production of a CD, entitled, The Gift of Sound and Its Effects on State Regulation. It included a text to address students’ and adults’ understanding of relaxation techniques & self-regulation with ten selections of Spirituals, lullaby, and arias. It is distributed through CD Baby.
